Adult Choir

The Adult Choir sings regularly at the 10:30 am Sunday mass at Saint Margaret Church as well as at special liturgies and celebrations throughout the church year.  Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings at Saint Margaret Church from 7:15 pm to 8:45 pm.

Teen Choir

The Teen Choir is open to teens in grades 9 - 12. The Teen Choir provides musical leadership at liturgies scheduled at Saint Mary Magdalen Mission. Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings at Saint Mary Magdalen from 7:15 pm to 8:30 pm.   Singers and instrumentalists are welcome.  For rehearsal schedule, please contact Mr. Jeffrey Winfield, Director, email jefwinfield@comcast.net  or by phone at the music office.

Children’s Choir

The Children's Choir is open to boys and girls in grades 3–8.  They sing primarily at the 9:00 am Mass at Saint Margaret Church approximately every 4-6 weeks during the school year.  Rehearsals are on Thursday afternoons at Saint Margaret Church from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Cherub Choir

The Cherub Choir is open to children in kindergarten through grade 2. They sing primarily at the 9:00 am Mass at St. Margaret Church approximately every 4-6 weeks during the school year.  Rehearsals are on Thursday afternoons at Saint Margaret Church from 4:30 pm to 5:00 pm.

Handbell Choirs

The Handbell Choirs are open to those of  high school age or older.  They play  at various liturgies and celebrations throughout the year at Saint Margaret Church and Saint Mary Magdalen Mission.  Jubilate Ringers (three octaves) rehearse on Monday evenings at Saint Margaret Church from 6:00 pm to 7:00pm.  Westminster Ringers (five octaves) rehearse also on Monday evenings at Saint Margaret Church from 7:15 pm to 8:30 pm.  
 
Youth Handbell Choir for 2010
     We would like to form a handbell choir just for high school student.    Music reading ability is helpful but not essential.  If interested, please call the music office.  The fall rehearsals are tentatively scheduled for Monday evenings from 5:15 pm to 6:00 pm at the Church.  Rehearsals and performances will not conflict with those for the Teen Choir at Saint Mary Magdalen.

Instrumentalists

There are many liturgies throughout the year that feature music utilizing other instruments than the organ and piano.  If you are proficient on a particular instrument (trumpet, flute, violin, etc…) and would like to extend your talent to the music ministry, please contact the music office.

Donations

Many of our major feasts and celebrations utilize more extensive instrumental ensembles such as brass and tympani.  We welcome any donations that would help underwrite the cost of these musicians. Your donations could be in the form of a memorial to a loved one or to honor a friend or family member.  All donations would be recognized in the bulletin.
