THE
VISION AND MISSION
|
The
Vision and Mission of St. Margaret Parish reflect its focus for
the 21st century. In its rich 100 year history, the parish
consistently has deepened and expanded its response to the
Mission of Jesus Christ. These statements offer the parish
community renewed clarity for responding to the changing times
and challenges of God's world.
Since July 2007 the Strategic Planning Steering Committee led a
process for reviewing and then revising St. Margaret
Parish Vision and Mission statements. They studied past
and present statements. They gathered input from multiple groups
and persons in the parish. Then through prayer, study,
discussion and reflection, the Steering Committee developed
draft revisions of the Vision and Mission Statements. Feedback
on the critiqued drafts in late Spring 2008 contributed to the
final version.
