Presenting ... 

Eric Plutz

University Organist at Princeton University

In Concert at St. Margaret Church
7:30 pm

A reception will follow in the Gallery of the Church.
Suggested donation:  $5

    Eric Plutz plays for weekly services at the Princeton University Chapel.  He is acclaimed, indeed as "an impressive organist" by Donald Metz writing for American Record Guide, and as a "spirited and virtuosic organist" by Tim Page, writing for the Washington Post.
     Mr. Plutz has accepted engagements in distinguished locations including Salzburg, Austria, New York City (Lincoln Center), Washington, DC (Washington National Cathedral), San Francisco, and Atlanta. He was a featured artist at the 2007 Convention of the American Guild of Organists, and a featured performer for the 2007 American Handel Society Conference.

As an accompanist, 
Mr. Plutz has worked with the National Symphony Orchestra, the Choral Arts Society of Washington, the American Repertory Singers, the Fessenden Ensemble, the Washington Symphonic Brass, and the Washington Ballet.  He has studied in Paris with Marie-Louis Langlais, researching the major organ works of Cesar Franck.

December 3, 2008 St. Margaret Bus Trip to Manhattan
The day will begin with Mass at St. Patrick's Cathedral
with Fr. Jesse Bolger. 

The rest of the day will be yours to enjoy a show, Christmas shop, or simply take in "the Big Apple".  The cost of the bus trip is $38 a person.  There are a limited number of tickets to see the Broadway production of "A Tale of Two Cities" for an additional $90.  To register for this trip, please call Kathy Reilly at the Parish Office or kreilly@stmargaret.org .  The bus departs from St. Mary Magdalen at 7:00 am for Manhattan and returns around 10:00 pm.

     Our Pastor, Msgr. Michael Schleupner will be leading a group to Germany in June of 2010. If you would like to receive the itinerary please call the Parish Office, 410-879-2670. Deposits must be made NOW due to the need to firm up ticketing for the Passion Play. [Note: Other countries are also included]
